Vincentric Vehicle Cost Analyses
Vincentric is an automotive data analytics firm located in Bingham Farms, Michigan that produces annual best-in-class vehicle awards and consumer cost-of-ownership analyses based on both retail and fleet vehicle data. It is also home to some of the best people I have ever worked with.
During my year as the Vincentric Marketing Coordinator, I was primarily responsible for creating, curating, and posting material on the company’s social media accounts, updating the website content when needed, managing communication with OEMs, and writing/editing press releases for Vincentric news. As I grew in my role, I also became responsible for creating various vehicle analyses and reports after careful analysis and interpretation of raw, vehicle cost-of-ownership comparison data. For example, the 2016 Vincentric Hybrid Analysis, shown below, compares hybrid vehicles to their respective all-gasoline-powered counterparts and illustrates which hybrids hold an ownership cost advantage compared to their comparison. Growing in proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis and visualization techniques, I also produced similar analyses in Canada, as well as for diesel vehicles and their counterparts.
While at Vincentric, I also enthusiastically took on the unofficial role of Event Planner, organizing the company’s first-annual Thanksgiving office party, first 5k run in downtown Detroit, and first-annual company-wide Spirit Week. I was also in charge of ordering and designing new Vincentric running shirts and hats. Some photos from my experience are shown below!
